Swiss power and automation expert ABB issued a statement at its headquarters stating that it has completed its strategic retreat from the solar inverter field, divesting its solar inverter business to Italian company Fimer. Current situation of ABB solar energy
In another statement on Monday, Italian buyer FIMER stated that the transfer of solar inverter assets, including the business acquired by ABB from Power One in 2013, has made FIMER the fourth largest global supplier of solar inverters.
