A temperature controller is a device used for monitoring and controlling temperature, and its working principle is based on three main steps: temperature sensing, signal processing, and execution control.
Temperature sensing
The temperature controller is equipped with a temperature sensor inside, which is a key component for sensing changes in environmental temperature. Common types of sensors include thermistors, thermocouples, and thermal resistors. These sensors are capable of real-time sensing of environmental temperature and converting temperature signals into electrical signals for subsequent processing.
signal processing
The electrical signal generated by the sensor is sent to the signal processing unit of the temperature controller. In this unit, the electrical signal will undergo amplification, filtering, and digitization to improve the accuracy and reliability of the signal. Then, the signal processing unit will compare the processed signal with the set target temperature. If the two are equal or close, the controller will maintain the current working state; If there is a deviation between the two, the controller will issue a control signal to adjust the working state of the actuator.
Execution control
The actuator is the final executing component of the temperature controller, which adjusts the temperature of the controlled object based on the control signal. Common types of actuators include heaters, coolers, etc. When the ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature, the controller will issue a heating command to start the heater and increase the ambient temperature; On the contrary, when the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature, the controller will issue a cooling command, causing the cooler to start working and reduce the ambient temperature.
Through the collaborative work of the above three links, the temperature controller can achieve real-time monitoring and control of the ambient temperature, ensuring that the ambient temperature remains within the set range at all times.
