Classified by control method:
Open loop controller: The controller does not receive feedback signals from the controlled object and only controls based on input signals.
Closed loop controller: The controller receives feedback signals from the controlled object and controls it based on the feedback signals and input signals.
Classified according to control laws:
PID controller: a controller that adopts three control laws: proportional (P), integral (I), and derivative (D).
Fuzzy controller: A controller that uses fuzzy logic for control.
Neural network controller: a controller that uses neural network technology for control.
According to the classification of control objects:
Temperature controller: A controller used to control temperature.
Pressure controller: A controller used to control pressure.
Flow controller: A controller used to control flow.
Classified by control accuracy:
Rough controller: a controller with lower control accuracy.
High precision controller: A controller with high control accuracy.
