Alarm type:
Process alarm
This alarm may be related to system efficiency or indicate a defect in the equipment. This form of alarm is usually integrated into the control system (usually DCS) and uses the same sensors as the control system.
Machine or equipment alarm
This type of warning helps detect equipment issues and does not directly affect system operation.
Security related alerts:
This type of warning is used to alert operators to situations that may cause danger or damage to the factory.
These alarms should usually have high priority and be independent of the devices they monitor when they involve preventing control system failures. In many cases, the security shutdown mechanism itself generates such warnings.
Turn off the alarm
This type of alarm notifies the operator that the SIS has reached and triggered an automatic shutdown condition. However, it must be noted that not all alarm systems will be turned off. In some cases, the result of automatic startup is this type of alarm.
This device can start the backup generator in case of power outage. Another example is when the main system shuts down and the backup pump automatically starts. For K O. Acid gas, install a switch pump. Fight, fight.
When the water level in the drum is high, the pump will start and stop when the water level is low. There is a warning indicating that the water level is too high or too low. This is a pump.
Other alarm systems: In addition to critical process safety alarms, independent hard wired indicator systems may also include the following alarms:
Fire (e.g. satellite instrument room)
Overflow or release of toxic substances
safety shower
Power system malfunction
Smoke detectors in electrical rooms or substations
Ventilation malfunction
